The ATID Founder

James Ramos is the founder, president and CEO of the American Training Institute of Diversity (ATID) – formerly named James Ramos Consulting (JRC). His mission is to direct a team of professionals to effectively serve organizations by developing work environments that will thrive in diversity and successfully achieve company desired goals.

With over 20 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing a variety of training programs and initiatives, he is a subject matter expert in unconscious bias diversity management, team building, leadership, problem solving, conflict resolutions, communications, and other professional development subjects. 

As a premier consultant/trainer and sought after public speaker, James has had the opportunity to work with various professionals and organizations from around the country and the world. Some of the organizations James has worked with are: the U.S. Department of Justice, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Massachusetts State Police, Idaho State Police, Advocacy Health Care, University of South Florida, Chicago State University, Illinois Film Office, Chicago Police Department, University of Chicago Police, The John Buck Company, BUILD, Inc., Illinois Masonic Hospital Police, Cook County State’s Attorney, and Northeastern University.

James has a Master’s of Science in Communications from Northwestern University and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
